Visit a supermarket. Find the total number of fruits and vegetables. Which are more in number–
vegetables or fruits? Find the diff erence between the number of fruits and vegetables to answer this.
State why we should include fruits and vegetables daily in our diet.

How many union territories are there in India? Name these union territories. How many states are
there in India? What product will you obtain on mul plying the number of states by the number of
union territories? Write a few lines about the state/union territory where you live in.

Kavya has 256 chocolates. She distributes the chocolates equally among 8 of her friends. How many
chocolates does each friend get? Do you think sharing is a good thing to do? Why should we prac ce
sharing? What do you understand by ‘Sharing is Caring’? Write a few lines about it based on your
understanding.
