jar.
Estimation and Verifi cation of Length, Weight and Capacity
We can es mate the length, weight and capacity of any object, using approximate values
for measurements. For example, width of a fi nger as a measure of cen metres, the length
from your shoulder to your fingertips as a measure of metres, a small paper clip as a
measure of grams, a large so drink bo le as a measure of litres and a spoonful of cough
syrup as a measure of millilitres.
