     Measuring Capacity Using Non-Standard Units
We talk about capacity in terms of the
container. A glass of milk, a jug of water and a
bowl of soup are some examples of containers.
These containers are non-standard units of
measurement of capacity. This is because the cup glass jug
shapes and sizes of these containers are not Some non-standard units of
always the same. measurement of capacity
We can measure the capacity of a bigger container using non-standard units.
                                                                      =
5 glasses of water 1 jug of water
We can say that glasses are used to measure the capacity of a jug.
Here the capacity of the jug is equal to 5 glasses as 5 glasses fi ll the jug up to
                    the top.
                     3. Tick () the container that has more capacity.
