11 To the Market
It is Sunday morning. It is a holiday for everyone at home. Raman’s parents
are going to the market.
Mother : Raman, we are going to the market. Do you want to come with
us?
Raman : Yes, Mother, I want to come
with you.
Father : Let’s go by car then. It will be
more comfortable.
Mother : That is a good idea.
Father : Raman, go and change your
clothes quickly and wear your
shoes.
Raman : I will be ready in five minutes, Papa.
Mother : We have to buy a lot of things. Let’s carry a few bags. It will be
easy to bring the things back.
They go by car to the market.
On the way
Raman : What are we going to buy?
Mother : Vegetables and some other
things.
Raman : Will we go to the bakery?
Mother : Certainly. We can buy some
pastries and biscuits.
