Make a Clay Caterpillar
Make a caterpillar with clay.
You Need:
Clay dough of diff erent colours, toothpicks
What to Do:
• Make a few balls of diff erent sizes using clay.
• Put the clay balls in a row from small to big and
join them together.
• Take two toothpicks. Break them and insert two
small clay balls of same colour on the top of the
broken toothpicks. This makes the antennae of the
caterpillar.
• Now, insert these toothpicks on the head (the biggest clay ball) of the caterpillar.
• Make two very small clay balls each from black and white coloured clays. Flatten them. Stick
the smaller black fl attened part on the bigger white fl attened part. This makes the eyes.
• Make a mouth by rolling a small part of red
clay in between your palms. Place the eyes
and mouth on the head region.
