Ordering

In increasing order, we arrange numbers from the smallest to the biggest.

In decreasing order, we arrange numbers from the biggest to the smallest.

Example: 13, 15, 16, 19 are in increasing order.

18, 14, 12, 10 are in decreasing order.

Top Tip

Increasing order  small < big < bigger < biggest

Decreasing order  big > small > smaller > smallest
