Make a group and design an Urban Town for the year 2025. Using what you have learned about
smart cities, develop one from scratch on a chart paper keeping in mind the essential services
and the welfare of the residents.

Your town must include the following structures and spaces.
1 river 3 bridges
80 modest houses 1 city hall
15 splendid houses 1 museum
10 stores 2 secondary schools (public)

3 primary schools 20 tenements
1 bank 3 hospitals
5 pubs 1 theatre
5 restaurants 4 religious places
1 courthouse/jail 7 clinics
10 factories of various sizes 2 parks
2 railroad lines, 2 stations 1 library

8 streets with one intersection 1 feed mill (where farmers buy grain)
3 coalmines
• Upon completion, all groups will be called upon one by one to explain the rationale behind
their designs.
• Your towns should include the features of a smart city that is able to stand out as an
independent entity.
