2. The crow drank the
water and flew away.

3. The water came up to the top.

4. A crow was feeling thirsty.

5. The crow dropped small
stones in the pot.

6. It saw a pot with little water

at the bottom.

Activity

Let’s play a homework game. Follow the direc ons below.

1. Take two pieces of paper. Write ‘Did
my homework’ in one paper. Write

‘Did not do my homework’ in the

other paper.

2. Now sit in a circle.

3. Pass a pencil box when your teacher plays a song.

4. The song stops. The student with the pencil box picks one

piece of paper.

5. If the paper says ‘Did not do my homework’, the student tells

everyone why she or he did not do the homework.

6. If the paper says ‘Did my homework’, the game continues.
