4. Move the pointer to the ‘Drawing Area’.

5. To draw a circle or an oval, press the left mouse button and drag the
mouse on the ‘Drawing Area’.

6. Release the mouse button when the circle or oval is made.

With the help of the Oval tool, draw two circles of diff erent colours in Paint.

Rectangle Tool

Follow these steps to use the Rectangle tool.

1. Click on the Home tab.

2. Select the Rectangle tool in the ‘Shapes’ group.

3. Select the thickness of the line by clicking on the Size button. Select the

colour of the line from the ‘Colours’ group.

4. Move the pointer to the ‘Drawing Area’. You will see that the pointer
changes to ‘+’ sign.

5. To draw a rectangle or a square, press the left mouse button and drag

the mouse on the ‘Drawing Area’.
