Teacher’s Corner
1. Demonstrate alphabet keys and two sets of number keys on a keyboard to
the students.
2. Demonstrate two Enter keys on a keyboard.
3. Help the students to open the WordPad.
4. Help them to do the tasks given in the sections: Linking knowledge and
Student’s Corner. Tell them to press the keys gently.
Student’s Corner
Open WordPad with the help of your teacher or parents.
1. Type your name, your mother’s name and your father’s name. [ICT – English]
2. Type the fi rst and last ten letters of English alphabet. [ICT – English]
3. • Type your age, your mother’s age and your father’s age.
• Type the mobile numbers of your parents.
• Type your address. Also, type the address of your school. [ICT – English]
4. Type fi ve sentences on ‘My Best Friend’. [ICT – English]
5. Type names of any two fruits you like. Press the Space bar key to leave space
between the two fruits. Press the Enter key to type the name of a fruit other
than the ones already typed.
