Teacher’s Corner

1. Show diff erent types of mouse to the students. Ask the students to identify
them.

2. Make the students understand that the left-handed child will use his/her

left hand to hold a mouse and the right-handed child will hold a mouse
with his/her right hand. If possible, demonstrate it in class.

3. Show how a mouse pointer moves to the students on the screen. Also tell

them that moving a mouse also makes the pointer move.

Student’s Corner

1. Visit your computer lab and look at the computer mouse. Open any program
using a mouse with the help of your teacher.

2. Learn to use the computer mouse with the help of your teacher or parents.

Follow the given steps to do so.

• On the desktop, move the mouse pointer to the blank area.

• Click the right button of the mouse.

• You will see a list of options.

• Click on View and then on Medium icons.

• You will see that the items (icons) on your screen will show change in

size.
