• A collection of information, facts and figures is called data.

• Data handling is the methodical or systematic way of arranging
the collected data.

Mrs Shalini noted the number of absentees in her class during a week. Rewrite the
given data in increasing order of number of absentees.

Pictograph

Data can be arranged and represented in many ways. One of them is by using pictures.
