Let’s Recall ...
• Money has two forms: paper money called currency notes and
metal coins.
• In India, rupees are written as ` and paise are written as p.
• 1 rupee = 100 paise
• We separate rupees and paise with a dot. For example, 12 rupees and 50 paise
is written as ` 12.50.
