Word Problems

Look at the given example to learn how to solve a problem on fractions.

Example 5: In a test, Sarah got 7 marks out of 15. What fraction of marks did she
                             get?

            Solution: Total marks = 15
Marks scored by Sarah = 7

So, the fraction of marks = 7
                                                              15
