Multiplication of a 2-Digit Number by a 1-Digit Number
We can multiply a given 2-digit number by a 1-digit number in two ways.
1. 34 × 2 =
Step 1: Multiply the digit at the ones place by 2. 4 × 2 = 8
Step 2: Multiply the digit at the tens place by 2. 3 × 2 = 6
Step 3: Write the digits at their correct places. 68
So, 34 × 2 = 68.
