Multiplication Methods
We can multiply numbers in two ways. The product remains the same in both.
1. In horizontal multiplication, we place the numbers next to each other with
a multiplication sign in between. The product is also written in the same
row. For example, 4 × 2 = 8
2. In vertical multiplication, we place the numbers one below the other with
a multiplication sign before the second number. The product is written
below the second number. For example,
