                    Solution:     Let the principal be ` 100.

                                  S.I. =    100

                                            100 × 9 × 6
                                  \ S.I. =     100 × 2      ⇒ S.I. = ` 27

                                  A = P + S.I.  ⇒ A = ` 100 + ` 27 = ` 127
                                  When amount is ` 127, principal is ` 100.
