ACTIVITY-1

                         What To Do?

To understand the concept of factors using buttons or ice cream sticks
                         What We Need?
                         Buttons or ice cream sticks

                         How To Do?
                               Work in pairs.
 Your teacher will write some numbers on the blackboard/whiteboard for which the

                               factors need to be found.
 Each pair will have to group the buttons or ice cream sticks equally in different ways to
find the factors of the given number. Let’s say to find the factors of 24, you can group the
                               buttons or ice cream sticks in groups of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24 equally.
 Repeat the activity with more numbers.

                      ACTIVITY-2

                         What To Do?
To find the multiples of a number using a number line and skip counting method

                         What We Need?
                         A paper, pencil and scale
                         How To Do?
 Draw a number line on a paper.

 Your teacher will call out a number in the class, say 5 and first eight multiples of 5.
 Then you have to do skip counting of 5 on the number line and find out the first eight
                               multiples of 5 on it.

                               0 5 10 15 20 25 30 35 40 45 50
 Repeat the activity with more numbers.
