                    Temperature

Temperature is the measure of degree of hotness or coldness of a body.
Temperature is measured in either degree Celsius (°C) or in degree Fahrenheit (°F).

We measure the temperature of a body using a device called thermometer.

There are various types of thermometers. Since degree Remember
Celsius and degree Fahrenheit are the two standard The thermometer that

On the Celsius scale, 0°C denotes the freezing Boiling point of water
point of water and 100°C denotes the boiling Celsius
point of water. Each division denotes 1 degree
                    Celsius or 1°C.
                                                                                              0°C
                                                                                     Freezing point of water

                                                                                                                  212°F
On the Fahrenheit scale, 32°F denotes the Boiling point of water
freezing point of water and 212°F denotes the Fahrenheit
                    boiling point of water.

                    So, we can say that 0°C = 32°F and 100°C = 212°F.
                                                                                              32°F
