Forming Numbers
We can form numbers with the given digits by arranging them in diff erent order.
• To form the greatest number, arrange the given digits in descending order.
• To form the smallest number, arrange the given digits in ascending order.
Look at the given examples.
(a) Using the digits 3, 9 and 1, the
