                     Chapter 1, Numbers from 100 to 200

Make number cards from 0 to 9. In a group of 2 to 3 students, use these cards to

form diff erent 3-digit numbers from 100 to 200. Write the number names for the
numbers formed. Also, write the expanded form of the numbers formed.

                     Chapter 2, Numbers from 201 to 999

Make a colourful chart to explain how to fi nd place values and face values of digits
for numbers 201 to 999. Use any ten numbers.

                     Chapter 3, Addition

Take a box and put objects like ice cream s cks and toothpicks in it. Form groups of
three children each. Each child should pick out objects from the box and prac se
addi on using them. You can form diff erent 2-digit numbers using the objects.

Remember that toothpicks represent numbers at the tens place and ice cream
s cks represent numbers at the ones place. For example, 2 toothpicks and 3 ice
cream s cks represent 23. You can use other objects of your choice to represent
the numbers formed by you. Similarly, form diff erent 2-digit numbers and prac se

                     addi on.

                     Chapter 4, Subtraction

Make colourful number cards. Form groups of two. Form 2-digit numbers using
these number cards. Each group should form two 2-digit numbers. Subtract the

smaller number from the bigger number. Write the diff erence obtained. Prac se
subtrac on by repea ng the ac vity with diff erent number cards.

                     Chapter 5, Multiplication

Construct table of 4 using ice cream s cks. You can take help from the ac vity
given in the chapter. You may use any other object to construct the table.

                     Chapter 6, Geometry
 Take a chart and make diff erent shapes on it with free hand and colour the

shapes. Now again draw the same shapes using a ruler or any other object
and colour them. What diff erence do you observe in the shapes made with
free hand and the ones made using a ruler or any other object?

 Make diff erent fi gures using only straight lines and only curved lines on a
drawing sheet. Colour the fi gures.
