These sentences describe a fact, something that happens frequently or regularly,
or something that is currently true. They are in the simple present tense. The form
of a sentence in the simple present is:
subject + present tense form of the verb + rest of the sentence
subject present tense form of the verb rest of the sentence
The wolves hate Tabaqui.
They are afraid of him.
Tabaqui (often) goes mad.
A dry bone is a good feast.
Man-eaters lose their teeth.
In simple present tense the verb changes according to the person and number of
the subject.
