What To Do?

To make pa erns using fi ngerprints or thumbprints

What We Need?

A white sheet of paper, water colours and colour dish

How To Do?

• Take colours in the colour dish and add water to them. Make sure
the colours are not watery.

• Dip any one fi nger in the colour and take it out.

• Press the fi nger fi rmly on the paper.

• Repeat steps 2 and 3 with diff erent colours to make beau ful
pa erns.

Integrate with Environmental Studies

Collect three diff erent leaves and put water colour on these leaves. A er
colouring the leaves, put the fi rst leaf on the paper, followed by the second

leaf and then the third leaf. Repeat this three mes. You will obtain a pa ern.
Name the trees or plants from which you have collected the leaves.
