Capacity

Capacity of an object is the amount it can hold.

A jug can hold 10 glasses of water.

We can also write it as follows.

                     • A jug holds more water than a glass.

                     • A glass holds less water than a jug.

                    Look at another example.

A ke le can hold 5 cups of milk.

We can also write it as follows.

                     • A ke le holds more milk than a cup.

                     • A cup holds less milk than a ke le.
