                    Look at the following sentences from the story.

                       This is a splendid hunting ground.

                       That is very sad.

                    In these sentences the words this and that are used to point out something that they refer
                    to. They are demonstrative pronouns.

                    Demonstrative pronouns this, that, these and those show or point out the person or thing
                    that they refer to. They are usually followed by verbs.

                    This and that are used for singular nouns while these and those are used for plural nouns.
