1 Benu’s Toy Jungle


Look at the pictures given below. Tick ( ) the animals that live in the jungle.

It is Sunday. Benu is playing with his toy animals. He says to his grandma,
‘I want to live in the jungle. I will be the lion’s best friend.’ Grandma

laughs. ‘Let us make our own jungle,’ she says.

‘Where is the lion’s den ?’ asks Benu. Grandma puts an open umbrella
on the floor and says, ‘Look, Benu, this is the den.’ Benu puts his toy lion

under the umbrella. Then he puts the tiger under the chair. ‘The chair is
the tiger’s cave,’ says Benu happily.

‘Where are the trees?’ asks Grandma. ‘These monkeys want to climb

them.’ Benu points to the curtains and says, ‘Those are the trees.’ Grandma
and Benu tie the monkeys to the curtains.
