Let’s Recall ...
• 10 ones = 1 ten
• 10 tens = 1 hundred
• 10 hundreds = 1 thousand
• Adding 1 to the largest 1-digit number gives the smallest 2-digit number. 9 + 1 = 10
• Adding 1 to the largest 2-digit number gives the smallest 3-digit number. 99 + 1 = 100
