            Framing Word Problems

            Example 10:  Frame 3 word problems for 22 × 3 = ?

            Solution:        Word problems for the given sum can be as follows.

                             1.   In a school, there are 3 sections of class III. If in each section there
                                  are 22 students, how many students are there in all the sections?

                             2.   A milkman has a container which contains 22 litres of milk. If the
                                  milkman carries 3 such containers on his bicycle, how much milk
                                  is he carrying?

                             3.   In a library, a shelf has 22 books. How many books will be there in
                                  3 such shelves?
