• Use vegetables’ prints to make pictures like a garden or borders of gree ng
cards.

• Make pa erns with your thumbprints or fi ngerprints showing faces of
diff erent animals. Name the animals and state how they are useful to us.

What To Do?

To make pa erns using diff erent vegetables

What We Need?

A white sheet of paper, water colours, colour dish, caulifl ower fl oret,

bi er gourd (cut from one end)

How To Do?

• Take colours in the colour dish and add water to them. Make sure the
colours are not watery.

• Dip one end of any vegetable in the colour and take
it out.

• Press the vegetable fi rmly on the paper. Repeat with the other

vegetable.

• Form pa erns by repea ng the above two steps.
