Summary of the letter

In this le er to Indira Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru has given informa on about the early man
and how man became more and more powerful as his intelligence increased. He writes that in the
beginning the early man had no weapons. Then he learnt to make weapons like axe and others with
stone. He did not have paper, pen, pencil or brush. He did not even have a house to live. Pandit Nehru
also wrote that the early man is known as the man of the prehistoric period.
